By using Global Cargo Shipping Company (GCSC) services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all shipments, accounts, and use of our website and API. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
GCSC provides international and domestic freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and related logistics services. All services are subject to applicable laws, carrier tariffs, and GCSC's standard trading conditions. Service availability may vary by location and route.
The following are prohibited from all GCSC shipments: illegal goods or contraband, counterfeit items, live animals (except through specialist services), human remains, currency, bearer bonds, narcotics, and items prohibited by destination country law. GCSC reserves the right to inspect, refuse, or return any shipment suspected of containing prohibited items.
GCSC's liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the shipment or $100 USD, whichever is lower, unless extended insurance has been purchased. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages. Claims must be filed within 5 business days of delivery.
Invoices are due within the payment terms stated on your account (typically net 30 for business accounts). Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge. GCSC reserves the right to hold shipments for non-payment and to place accounts in collections after 60 days overdue.
GCSC is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, government actions, port strikes, carrier failures, or extreme weather. We will notify affected customers as soon as practicable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under AAA rules in New York City, except where prohibited by applicable law. Class action waivers apply.
